Someone with the library and information studies background has:

• a strong understanding of information as a medium, its challenges, how people perceive, interpret and search for information
• the skills necessary to implement effective organization systems, understand the importance of good metadata and know how search engines work
• the ability to synthesise complex information into concrete concepts that reflect the needs of the audience
